Born in Suriname, raised in Amsterdam. Vanessa is a singer with numerous experiences under her belt. She-s worked with famous Italian artists such as Raf and Zucchero and has lent her artistic skills as a singer and songwriter to various dance and hip hop projects. She has graced the stage in successful programs like Festivalbar, Domenica in and Pavarotti & Friends as part of Zucchero's band and was an opening act for Lauryn Hill and Rita Marley at the Meta Rock festival in Pisa in 2001. Her first solo album ‘’The butterfly experience ‘’ was released in October 2017. The album features the song ‘’Baby you left me'' written for her by Henry Padovani, founder and first guitarist of The Police. After a successful promo tour in major cities all over Italy, Vanessa was ready to get back into the recording studio to work on her second album. For this new project she’s teamed up with critically acclaimed Grammy award winning producer Tommaso Colliva, who's also a co author of four tracks of the album, including the title track Essensuality, Angel, Delicious and Shade. The EP was released in July 2019. The artistic direction was assigned to Marco Olivi (Ghemon, Ex-Otago, Calibro 35, Mario Biondi) and album is co produced, co written and arranged by Raffaele ‘’Rabbo'' Scogna (Nic Chester, Ghemon). It was mastered by the Grammy award winner Giovanni Versari. The first single  'Essensuality' exclusively debuted on Billboard.it and the second single 'Angel' is out now! The EP is available on all digital platforms.
